My love for photography began in college and has evolved exponentially over the past two decades as I worked as a correspondent and freelance writer for Dow Jones, Fairchild Publications, Penton Publishing and others. While I wrote and took pics, my husband and I were also busy raising two athletic and highly social children. Our active kids brought about ample opportunities to capture games and dances, vacations, special events and much more. Hence, my love affair with taking pictures grew.

 

I still write and love it equally. But I also hope to further my career in photojournalism. As a photographer, my eye jumps to color, movement and texture. I especially enjoy catching people in little "moments" when they are living life, with all its simplicity, messiness, humor, joy and sorrow. It's images of these moments that tell stories in a million ways that words simply cannot.
